Storms can come out of nowhere on the lake called Galilee. Even today, high winds can bring 15 to 20 foot waves out in the middle of this large body of water. We too struggle with storms in our lives which can come out of nowhere. These storms may have something to do with our own mistakes, failures to invest in close relationships that are starting to unravel, or these storms of life can be beyond our control. We can receive an unwelcomed diagnosis from the medical doctor, auto accidents, or a company downsizing and we are either replaced or reassigned in the company we work for. Storms are inevitable, yet it is how we deal with them that either shapes our faith development or robs us of the joy God has for us.
