Explosions can be good, and explosions can be deadly. God’s explosions can cause beauty. Think about it: the islands of Hawaii were created from volcanic eruptions many years ago. Explosives like dynamite, utilized responsibly, can do good things like cut through massive mountains to make tunnels. Explosive resources coupled with forces of nature can also be destructive, though. Humanity has been assigned to honor God’s creation, not destroy it. Thus, knowing the grave risks of devastating explosives and not showing an equally healthy reverence for God and life alongside it, is not only irresponsible but will one day be held accountable when we stand in judgment before God. What about explosive words and actions ignited by anger?
