Making Gratitude Your Permanent Residence • Ezekiel 37:1-14 • Ep. 38

Think of a time you experienced dryness. In this time of dryness, did someone come alongside you and do for you what you could not do for yourself? After the fall of Jerusalem, Ezekiel, a young priest thirty years old, found himself among the Judean exiles by the Kebar River in Babylon. In exile, the LORD came and did for Ezekiel what he could not do for himself. God helped Ezekiel understand why judgment fell upon his people and their land. When everything in Ezekiel’s world folded, God reminded him that he loves him and still reigns in glorious splendor. The LORD allowed Ezekiel to see visions and receive messages for the Judeans in exile with him.
